Heads up! Cybercriminals are using a sneaky tactic called ClickFix to trick users into infecting their own devices.  

How it works:  

You land on a compromised site or fake pop-up (often disguised as a browser error, CAPTCHA, or video issue). It urges you to copy-paste a “fix” command into Windows Run, PowerShell, or Terminal.  

That command silently installs malware like info-stealers. No downloads. No attachments. Just you doing the work for them.  

Protect yourself:  

- Never copy/paste commands from websites or pop-ups.  

- Close suspicious tabs immediately.  

- Pause before acting on urgent “fix” prompts.  

- Keep systems and security tools updated.
